Top Yard Park

Top Yard Park (formerly known as Top Yard Farm) is a family holiday destination in the heart of Lincolnshire. Open from March until November every year, Top Yard Park has a wonderful countryside location just a few miles south west of the popular tourist seaside town of Skegness.

The campsite has 35 hardstanding pitches with electric hook-ups, and also has an area reserved for tents. All of the pitches are in a well landscaped field, which is lined with woodland so noise from the adjacent road is barely audible. Caravan storage is available for guests looking to return to Top Yard Park throughout the year or for the following season.

Facilities offered at Top Yard Park include a heated shower and toilet block, along with dishwashing facilities. The layout of the park ensures that the majority of pitches are within a short walk of the on-site facilities. There is a children's adventure playground at the park, which is hugely popular with younger guests. This is also within easy reach of the pitches, with most of them having a view of the playground, meaning little ones can play while their parents can relax at their accommodation, still able to keep an eye on their children.

Top Yard Park also has a handy on-site bar, with a patio garden ensuring families can relax and enjoy a drink outdoors if they wish and the weather allows. The bar also hosts a number of exciting events throughout the year, from regular karaoke evenings to a popular 'mid-summer Christmas' event.

Top Yard Park is within easy reach of plenty of things to do. Guests that love to keep it simple and enjoy the outdoors will delight in the miles of countryside and coastline found close by. Many choose to explore the surrounding region on foot or bicycle. Those wanting to do something rather than simply explore will find numerous opportunities for enjoying a round of golf or a day of fishing close by. Many people staying here visit Skegness, one of the most popular tourist towns in the country with something for everyone. The town is famous for its lengthy promenade, which as well as providing a great walk also allows access to some of the town’s best attractions, with amazing beachfront cafés, shops, arcades and much more to be discovered. The town is also home to the popular Fantasy Island attraction, a great place for a family fay out, while anyone looking for a holiday within a holiday can choose to spend a day at Butlin’s.

Those seeking more outdoor adventure should head north to the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a wonderful region for anyone that loves nature. This is also Tennyson country.

Further afield, guests can take the car to Boston or visit Lincoln, both great destinations with plenty for the whole family to enjoy, from Boston’s quirky layout and markets to Lincoln’s cathedral and medieval cobbled streets.
