Excellent unique glamping experience being ultra dog friendly. Hosts are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. All amenities you need with a well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom with a rainfall shower and air conditioning. So lovely to watch the stars from the wood fired hot tub or beside the campfire. Situated in a great location to visit some really nice picturesque villages close by with some great dog friendly restaurants and pubs. Definitely will be visiting again, we stayed in Alabama which was amazing but definitely want to try out a stay in all the other unique glamping vehicles.

The Layby Lincs

Alex and Lou are excellent hosts; nothing was too much trouble. My partner and I and our two dogs stayed in Alabama. We loved her! Super retro with some nice vintage touches; clean and warm; really comfortable bed (slept like a baby); warm and clean bathroom, well stocked with fluffy towels and delicious products; rain shower was luxurious! The grounds are well tended and nicely laid out. Plenty of parking. Can’t wait to book our next visit. 💗

The Layby Lincs

The Layby Lincs is an amazingly friendly and well thought out camp site with something extra. All the units are automotive based and equally unique. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by our hosts Lou and Alex. We stayed in Peggy Sue a stunning 1955 Airstream cruiser, but having a walk round the site where each unit is tucked away to give the perfect amount of privacy, we will be looking to book one of the other vehicles next time (Alabama looks ace). Our dogs were welcomed and there was no shortage of extras to make our stay feel like home from home, the toilet and shower room was super modern and clean, most importantly warm, the out door kitchen is a fantastic addition and makes the overall foot print of each unit huge. Oh did I mention each unit also had a wood fired hot tub!? Amazing
