This is a great site ! The young owners are really friendly and keep the site and toilets looking really good and clean. Great rolling hills and views of the sea too - fantastic sunsets nearly every evening we were there. Tiered site with hedges between each tier, big play area with swings, climbing frame plus a Little Tikes climbing frame for the smaller kids. Hot showers are great, and the washing up area is undercover, with a kids step, so no excuses for them not to help ! There is a laundry, which also has a baby bath and bottle steriliser - lovely touch. Owners also run a post office/shop at the site, which is really well stocked with lots of things you might need on a holiday (plenty of sweets for the kids too) plus locally produced Cornish pasties. Site is just off the A39 near Bude in Cornwall, so slight traffic noise but easy access to loads of places. We spent loads of time at Widemouth Bay beach only a couple of miles away doing great body-boarding and sandcastle building which the kids loved. Site is also close to Boscastle, and Tintagel with its excellent cliff top castle ruins. Bude is near too, and has lovely shops and beaches too. We had a great 2 weeks and will definitely be returning.
