Directions
Leave the A74(M) at Ecclefechan, Junction 19. Follow the B7076 for half a mile to the south side of the village. The park is signposted, on the B7076, 5 miles south of Lockerbie and 8 miles north of Gretna Green.Things to do in Dumfries & Galloway
Caerlaverock Castle
This moated, triangular castle was one of Scotland’s great medieval strongholds. The castle stands next to the ancient woodland, swaps and grassland of Caerlaverock Nature Reserve.
Solway Coast AONB
just across the estuary in Cumbria, this area of cliffs, dunes, coastline, and expansive views that stretch over ocean and up to distant mountains is great for walking, fishing, and bird watching.
Dumfries
Mingled among the market town’s shops, pubs and restaurants are the romantic Sweetheart Abbey and the Robert Burns Centre.
The Forest of Ae
Many walking trails and mountain biking routes lead through this stunning spruce forest which is also a major red squirrel refuge.

Its, clean/tidy/ toilet block clean.
Nice site not overcrowded.
Ideal dog walks, (don't forget your pooh bags tho!)
Ideal local shops - food/drink/cash point.
You are only approx 5 miles Lockerbie.
A few minutes off the Motorway,after a heavy drive or day !
Owners, Helpful and honest people.
Enjoy the STAY -Its worth every penny.

We have been staying on this site and The Toilet/ Shower Block is kept spotless.Open field space for the kids to play sport, grass or H/S pitches are level
No clubhouse on site but the Cressfield Hotel next door do good food and the owners are always pleased to see you.
10 new static pitches are being constructed on the existing putting green/ football field reducing the play area unfortunately for campers and this will eventually obscure the lovely views the touring pitches had last year.
Still a nice stoppover site though (very close to the motorway!)
