Travelling on the A483 from Oswestry or the A458 from Shrewsbury, carry on through Welshpool town centre and take the A490 road, you will pass Londis Garage, we are 2.4 miles ahead on your right. If using your SatNav, ignore the last instruction, stay on the main A490 we are situated on the right.For a family day out, there’s Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. From April -October, you can ride a steam train along this delightful narrow-gauge heritage railway from Raven Square to Llanfair Caereinion.
There’s a vast number of things to do near Welshpool not far from Valley View Holiday Park.
Welshpool is a market town with the awe-inspiring Powis castle and garden. Just three miles from the border, is a hub of activity from trains, planes, automobiles and canals.
If you like walking, why not try Glyndwrs Way. This 135 mile National Trail loops through glorious Mid Wales countryside. It starts from Knighton’s Town Clock, heads northwest to Machynlleth, then turns northeast, ending at the Montgomery Canal, Welshpool.
Welshpool’s golf club has a top of the world location with an appropriate name – Y Golfa. With panoramic views of the Welsh borderlands. On a clear day, you can see Snowdonia.

Fantastic Holiday Park - layout made it feel small and intimate with lanes and planting. Within easy reach of lots of local attractions and country pubs! Will definitely be back
Beautiful holiday park lovely area lovely people great grounds very well looked after great staff helpful and there if you need them. The caravans and lodges are so beautiful inside and out. Peace and quiet holiday park can’t beat it a really lovely place to come to get away from all the worry and stress of everyday life view are amazing what more can I say deffo be back 5* plus thank you - Maria & Nick Gale
