Directions
From Coleford take the B4228 (Chepstow) for 1½ miles. At the signpost for Sling, turn left and follow the road for 1 mile through the village of Sling. At the red telephone box and bus shelter turn right into the lane and follow for 200 yards to site.With beautiful views of the local area, Hawthorne Cottage Caravan Park is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday where the more adventurous can tour the forest, Wye Valley and other local attractions. The park enjoys direct access to the forest and woodlands and there are a variety of walking and cycling tracks available as well as good local pub food on offer not far away.
There are also a lot of places worth visiting, such as:
