This peaceful, spacious and unique 3-bedroom Yorkshire holiday cottage sleeps 6 and is the perfect secret location from which to explore the wide expanse of the moors with a variety of inspiring walking and cycling routes that start right outside the front door.
Full of traditional character and rustic style, the Barn features French windows and a balcony on the first floor to make the most of the breathtaking views. A unique cottage constructed from traditional Yorkshire stone, it has three bedrooms on the ground floor with direct access to the garden, which has a terraced area and BBQ. Upstairs, there is a spacious sitting room opening onto a large balcony with outdoor furniture.

The Barn at Rigg End does not allow pets, although it is horse friendly with a grazing field available so you can bring your horse on holiday!
Please note that children under 12 are not permitted to stay. This is due to a 'ha-ha wall' and several small ponds making the property unsuitable for young children.

The North York Moors National Park is an incredibly picturesque place that's ideal for walkers while Pickering and the surrounding areas have a variety of cycle trails through the countryside that are suitable for amateur riders and the more experienced. For golfers, Kirbymoreside Golf Club is just 20 minutes away and has a challenging course where visitors are welcome. Adventure-seekers can experience an exhilarating adrenaline rush through the treetops at Go Ape Dalby.
For families and anyone young at heart, Flamingo Land Theme Park & Zoo is a great day out as is a visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. History-lovers will enjoy a trip to the classic 12th-century Pickering Castle with its unusual medieval motte-and-bailey.
