Apart from the 250 miles of coastline, mountains, lakes and glorious countryside, North Wales is known as ‘The Adventure Capital of the UK’ since the region offers so many adventure and adrenaline-packed activities, including ziplining, caving and Go Ape.
For a day trip, Snowdonia National Park is an incredible place to explore and you could either climb Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, or take a ride on the Snowdon Mountain Railway for the same incredible views. The park is also just 10 minutes from the 19th century Gwrych Castle, the location of I’m a Celebrity 2020.

Had a 3 night stay at Abbey farm, gorgeous little spec on a family run working farm. Lovely owners very helpful. Hot and clean shower/toilet facilities. Two gorgeous farm dogs who will become your best friends. 10 minutes walk into Rhuddlan village, 3 pubs a nice Indian restaurant and of course the Castle. Lovely base for exploring the area.

Been here twice and can't wait for them to open in April, lovely relaxing site, love Jess the sheepdog and the chickens roaming freely, the owners are so welcoming. The views are fabulous and just ten minutes into Village of Rhuddlan with cheese shops, cafes, shops and love the Kings head pub. Highly recommend best site I've been on

An ideal campsite for local history and a great base for day trips to places in North Wales. Lovely quiet site and easy reach to Castle. Owners are really friendly. Will definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful & peaceful site, facilities are really clean & tidy. Very family friendly, the children loved the family dogs & collecting the eggs from the chickens. Hostess Celia was so welcoming - we will definitely be visiting again & would highly recommend this site.

‘We have been on this site for the last 4 years, great family run site, easy to walk to the village (shops, pubs, takeaways). A lovely quiet site on a working farm which is all the better at night when you’re chilling and watching the animals grazing in the field.’

“Lovely quiet family owned site who made us feel so welcome. Our children enjoyed making new friends & have asked to go back again. It’s only a few minutes walk from the village, and the surrounding countryside is gorgeous. Fantastic base to explore the area. Definitely going to visit again.”

“Spent our 1st season here last year and got some fabulous memories, the hosts are down to earth and very friendly. Have been to many other sites around Wales and this is by far the best. Looking forward to spending many more years on this site.”

“Our home from home for six years now!! Absolutely beautiful spot in the Welsh countryside…nothing beats waking up to the sounds of the cows and sheep, whilst enjoying a cup of tea and taking in the beautiful views the site has to offer. The site is run by a fantastic family who make everybody feel so welcome and there is a real sense of community here….”
