For shepherd's huts in the Lake District, the beautifully handmade Woodman's Huts are located at the scenic southern end of Lake Windermere with forest trails from the front door.
Finished to the highest standards, the huts each have a quality fitted kitchen with a combi-oven, microwave, full-size fridge, hob, sink, kettle and toaster. The pretty bedrooms even have en suite bathrooms and underfloor heating. The huts also feature a TV/DVD player with BOSE speakers and Wi-Fi is included.
In addition to the shepherd's huts, there is a separate BBQ hut where you can cook on the open fire (with coals supplied) or toast marshmallows for a relaxing evening.
At Woodmans Huts, you can walk all day without seeing a soul. There are wonderful walking trails from the front door over the Haverthwaite Heights and wild swimming and spa facilities just a mile away.
