Cotswold Glamping Pods & Safari Lodges at Village Farm, Notgrove - Luxury Glamping in the Heart of the Cotswolds from £60 per Night

Escape to the countryside with luxury glamping pods and safari lodges in the Cotswolds, set within a stunning 1,500-acre private estate at Notgrove Holidays. Located in the heart of the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, these beautifully positioned glamping stays overlook the peaceful village of Notgrove and offer the perfect balance of comfort, space and nature.

Whether you’re planning a family glamping holiday, a romantic countryside break or a relaxed getaway with friends, Notgrove provides one of the most scenic and flexible glamping experiences in the Cotswolds, with accommodation designed to make the most of its exceptional rural setting.

Glamping Pods in the Cotswolds

The glamping pods at Notgrove Holidays offer a simple, comfortable and well-equipped base for enjoying the countryside. Each of the nine self-catering pods sleeps up to four guests and is carefully positioned to overlook the village and surrounding landscape, creating a peaceful and private environment.

These pods are ideal for couples, families and small groups looking for glamping in the Cotswolds with easy access to open space and nature. Four of the pods are dog-friendly, making them a great option for guests travelling with pets, while the wider site offers plenty of space to explore.

Guests staying in the pods can enjoy access to a range of on-site facilities, including a games room, football pitch and outdoor play areas, along with a fire pit for barbecues and evenings outdoors. The pods also overlook a collection of friendly farm animals, including alpacas, goats, donkeys and Highland cattle, adding to the relaxed countryside atmosphere.

With flexible arrival days and short breaks available from two nights, the pods are well suited to both planned holidays and more spontaneous escapes.

Safari Lodges in the Cotswolds

For those looking for a more spacious and immersive glamping experience, the safari lodges at Notgrove offer a unique alternative. Set within a former cricket field and enclosed by mature beech trees, these canvas-style lodges combine the character of outdoor living with the comfort of a fully furnished holiday space.

Each lodge sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms and includes a wood burner and flushing toilet, making them particularly popular with families and groups. The setting provides a sense of privacy and space, while still offering easy access to the wider estate and its facilities.

The lodges are also dog-friendly and can be booked individually or together, making them an excellent option for larger group stays of up to 30 people in the Cotswolds.

Flexible Glamping Breaks in the Cotswolds

One of the key benefits of staying at Notgrove Holidays is the flexibility offered to guests. Unlike many glamping sites, there are no fixed arrival days, allowing you to start your break when it suits you.

Stays are available from two nights upwards, with occasional single-night availability where the booking calendar allows. This flexibility makes Notgrove an excellent choice for weekend breaks, midweek escapes and short glamping stays in the Cotswolds.

Glamping with Space, Nature and Access to the Cotswolds

Set within a large private estate, Notgrove offers a sense of space that is increasingly hard to find. Guests can step straight from their accommodation into open countryside, with access to walking routes, cycling trails and a peaceful rural landscape that captures the essence of the Cotswolds.

At the same time, the location provides easy access to some of the region’s most popular villages and attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring while still enjoying a quieter setting away from the busiest tourist areas.

Guestbook reviews

We were a party of 13 and we booked Kitehill (Cobnut and Walnut barns) for Xmas (20-27 December). The barns were opposite each other and so proved really easy to pop in and out. The standard of the accommodation was very good. Comfortable, well-equipped, warm. There was plenty of room to eat - we asked for a table extension and extra chairs and they were waiting on arrival. The lounge/communal areas are roomy and comfortable. Plenty of parking and a great location to explore that part of the Cotswolds. We had a great holiday and I can highly recommend the barns and the estate.

We had the best time staying in a pod! From some of these reviews, I think people come with extremely high expectations and don’t look at what they’re booking. We came in the snow and were concerned it would be cold but it was extremely cosy. The layout of the pod is perfect, with everything you need and pods like these are designed to provide the basics, but I would actually say that it felt way more than basic, and very good value in the area. At least you don’t need to walk to a toilet block in the middle of the night! Thank you so much for our stay. We had so much fun with the fire pit and we kept saying all weekend how good value it was and how much we loved it, especially for the location :)

Just the most beautiful location for a rural escape - we loved watching the horses trot past the pod and wandering across the village to the café. Super convenient for places like Bourton and Stow. I will be recommend Notgrove to all my friends!
