Most lodges have a washing machine and there is a laundry shed on site that offers an additional machine and a coin operated dryer. Beds are made up according to the number of guests booked and spare left in the wardrobe should additional beds be required. Each guest has a bath towel and there is a starter pack of household necessities inc. toilet roll.
Lodges have a brick BBQ close to the lodge. No disposables BBQ allowed. Portable BBQ’s are allowed but must be placed on either concrete surfaces/hardcore area with safety in mind. If the weather has been very dry for a long period, we do have to ask for safety reasons that BBQ’s ARE NOT LIT (This rarely happens but it is best to let you know).
Directions
Cars are required to get here and each lodge has adequate parking for 1 or 2 vehicles. It is possible to arrive by train at Barnstaple Station and a taxi from there to the lodges is between £20 and £30.Top 10 Things to Do Near Bulworthy Forest Lodges

The lodge was nice and cozy with everything that we needed. Liz was super helpful if we ever needed anything. The lodge was nice and secluded and nice views onto the lake. We enjoyed the woodland around the site. It was only 20 minutes to the nearest supermarket. The hot tub was great just to sit in of an evening listening to the woods and wildlife around you. Would love to go back and explore more of the area

Been here 5 times now for the Christmas break it's a lovely place peaceful. Owners are welcoming and polite very helpful if needed. Will definitely be coming again.

We stayed in woodpecker Lodge. Everything we wanted from a lodge cabin in a forest, so relaxing. The cabin had everything you needed to cook meals. Hot tub was perfect. Loved all the wildlife, especially the little bats at dusk. Staff super friendly and the local areas are so pretty. Definitely be back. Thank you.
