The Exe Valley Caravan Site, for adults only, occupies an enchanting, peaceful setting in a wooded valley within the Exmoor National Park. Set alongside the sparkling River Exe, the campsite has beautiful views, an abundance of wildlife and many footpaths leading to the moors, woodlands and rivers.
It is a wonderful location for camping and country loving folk. There is plenty of interest nearby, including Red Deer and Exmoor ponies roaming free over heather-clad moors, crystal clear rivers or streams full of wild trout and over 50 varieties of birds can be seen from the campsite. You will find unspoilt villages, National Trust properties and beautiful gardens. The scenic North Devon coast and Lorna Doone Valley are also within easy reach. The carefully maintained campsite covers 4 acres of level grass between the River Exe and our own mill stream.

Directions

Sat Navs: Please use the following postcode: TA22 9JN and if towing a caravan keep on 'A' roads to avoid narrow lanes and steep hills, following directions below.

From the South: (recommended for caravans + large motorhomes) Leave the M5 at junction 27 and take the A361 signposted Tiverton. After 7 miles of dual carriageway turn right at the roundabout signposted Bampton. Turn left at the Exeter Inn roundabout and follow the A396 for 1.8 miles. At the Black Cat corner you need to go into the triangle and take the middle fork following the A396. Continue on the A396 past Exebridge for a further 9 miles. (Do not turn off towards Dulverton.) Upon entering Bridgetown turn left immediately after the Badgers Holt Inn and the site entrance is immediately on your right.

From the North: Take the A396 from Wheddon Cross travelling South signposted Tiverton. Upon entering Bridgetown, the Mill House is the first building on your right. Turn right immediately after the Mill House and the site entrance is on your right.

We do not recommend the campsite for RV's in excess of 10 meters (32 feet) long.
