Twit Twoos Caravan Park

The charmingly named Twit Twoos Caravan Park is a Certificated Location found between Skegness and the south eastern edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

A Certificated Location (CL) is a small, five-van site, reserved exclusively for Caravan Club members.

This park is open all through the year, and welcomes guests with caravans and motorhomes. All pitches are hardstanding, while fully serviced pitches are available, along with pitches that have electric hook-ups. Pets are not allowed to stay at the park with their owners, while the facilities available for guests to use during their stay include toilet and shower blocks, and chemical waste disposal points.

While the park is in a quiet and relatively secluded location, Skegness is just a short drive away and a large range of local amenities are easily reached close by – if you fancy a day beside the seaside, you can do just that. A convenience store and a supermarket, along with a number of pubs and restaurants, are found within five miles of the park.

In addition, public transport stations are close to the park, ideal for guests looking to visit Skegness and the other nearby towns without taking the car with them. Other activities that can be found close by include golf, horse riding, and indoor and outdoor swimming. There are also numerous locations where fishing can be enjoyed close to the park.

Skegness is one of the most popular tourist towns in the UK, and guests that venture there soon discover why. The promenade is very exciting with shops, amusements, cafés, and much more to keep everyone happy, and is perfect for singles, couples and families to find something to do.

Skegness beach is safe and clean, offering great views out across the North Sea as well as being host to exciting water based activities for those wanting to be a bit adventurous.

The town is also close to the popular Fantasy Island attraction, while many guests staying at Twit Twoos Caravan Park pick up a Butlin’s day pass and spend some time there.

If you'd rather not go to see the sights of Skegness, the surrounding landscape is perfect for exploring. The Lincolnshire Wolds is truly the outdoor jewel in the crown of the local area, with some great hill top walks available that offer majestic views out across the county. It is also Tennyson country and across the Lincolnshire Wolds you can follow in the great poet's footsteps.

Guests wanting to explore the other wonderful towns and villages of the area will find plenty of options, with Boston and Woodhall Spa proving popular in particular. It will take you about 40 to 50 minutes to drive to Boston, or around 40 minutes to drive to Woodhall Spa. Or you could visit Lincoln, which is just over an hour away and is a great place for days out, with its cathedral, cobbled streets, shops and cafes.

If you'd like to visit Grimsby, which sits on the south bank of the Humber Estuary, it's under an hour from Twit Twoos CL. As well as enjoying some retail therapy, things to do in Grimsby include a tour around the Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre, and seeing the Dock Tower and Grimsby Minster.
