Four Acres Caravan Park

Four Acres Caravan Park is a friendly, family run holiday park, ideal for seaside holidays, being a short drive north of Hornsea on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. The park offers static holiday caravans for hire and for sale, as well as welcoming guests with touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents. The park is open for holiday home owners and hirers throughout the year, with the camping and touring season running from March to October. Children as well as the family pets are welcomed to the park.

All of the holiday homes permanently situated at Four Acres Caravan Park are luxurious and offer a range of conveniences as well as being hooked up to all necessary utilities. All of the touring caravan and motorhome pitches at the park are hard standing and benefit from electric hook ups, while seasonal touring pitches are also available. Touring guests looking to acquire a seasonal pitch for the following year are able to take advantage of well-priced seasonal storage at the park during the winter months.

The park has plenty of open space for families to enjoy ball games and other activities, while there is also a children’s play area. Several of the pitches look out onto the children’s play area so parents can enjoy a break while the kids run off some energy!

The village of Atwick is just 500 yards from the park, with a friendly pub and other local amenities. Atwick is also a popular stop off point with guests enjoying a late evening stroll in the summer. The park is two miles from Hornsea, where there is a selection of shops, pubs, and access to the beach.

All of the North Yorkshire coast is in reach during a stay at Four Acres Caravan Park. Bridlington is a short drive to the north, while a little further brings guests to Scarborough and Whitby. The towns of the North Yorkshire coast are renowned for being family friendly, fun resorts. All of them have great beaches as well as traditional seaside attractions, including amusement arcades, fairground rides, and beachfront fish and chip shops. They all have great shops and other pubs and restaurants, too.

Guests preferring to head in land can be in the historic city of York in around an hour. The drive into York is scenic and pleasant, with much to see and do around the city. York Minster and the York Dungeon are among the most popular attractions, although there is also plenty of parkland and open space, not to mention the opportunity to see the city from a unique perspective by taking the river bus on the Ouse.

Closer to the park, the Yorkshire countryside has plenty of market towns and villages that are great for visiting, all with their own quirks and different things going on. The local communities in this area are known for their friendly and welcoming nature, and many returning guests have built strong friendships in the nearby towns and villages.

Four Acres Caravan Park is a wonderful dog-friendly place for family tent, motorhome or caravan holidays in North Yorkshire, with miles of coastline, countryside, and some great towns and cities nearby.

This site is not very dog friendly. My family went on the May Bank holiday, when we arrived the lady who owned the caravan site never left us alone all weekend and watched our every move because our dog is a german shepherd, our dog is more behaved than some children and never made a sound all weekend, but yet we had so much grief. Shame as the site is lovely. Four Acres Caravan Park
