On the south coast of Cornwall, perched above the picturesque Mevagissey Bay, lies the five-star Heligan Caravan and Camping Park.
Within the original Heligan Estate, surrounded by natural beauty, our park is a magical destination that can be enjoyed all year round; with seasonal colours and charming wonders to inspire and excite visitors of all ages.
Whether you pitch a tent, bring a caravan or stay in one of our well-equipped self-catering holiday homes, you’ll be in the ideal place to relax, explore or just enjoy time with family and friends.
The heated amenity block offers you individual showers, toilets and an excellent disabled wet room. There’s no charge for hot and cold water.
When the towels get soggy and the jeans too muddy, you can make use of our onsite launderette and outside drying area.
For the odd pint of milk, newspaper and loaf of bread, we have a small well-stocked shop conveniently located on site.
As well as looking for birds, bees and bugs around the park, your little ones can also let off steam and make new friends in the children’s play area.
If you need any information about the many activities or attractions in the area, our staff at reception will be happy to help. Please note however, we are a small team at Heligan Campsite and occasionally reception will be closed whilst we are working elsewhere on the site – during these times, we will put a notice up to show our location so that you can find us.

This is a lovely campsite with everything you need in a glorious setting next to the Lost Gardens. Mevagissey is an easy walk, about half an hour. Pentewan is slightly further but still walkable. The pitches are mainly level & there are good facilities close by. We loved it !

Motorhome with Kids and Dogs:
Our first time to this fantastic site and very impressed. Went in a motorhome with 2 kids and a dog, pitch was level with an amazing view. Site was clean, tidy and well maintained, staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely dog walk near by taking you down to either mevagissy or pentewan. Small kids play park on site which was inspected daily and the toilets / showers always clean. Will definitely go back again and highly recommend.

Great Motor Home Experience:
From the minute we arrived, we were greeted with a lovely friendly welcome, followed by clear instructions of the site and facilities and surrounding area. The staff onsite are always happy to help with any query we had. We are very impressed with the motorhome pitches, which are ramped so no levelling blocks required, the view down the valley and across the sea is amazing. The toilet/showers are immaculately presented, warm with plenty of hot water. Overall the site is very well managed, from presentation to management. We will certainly return in the future.

I stayed here in early October 2018. I took two dogs with me in my Camper Van. The dogs were made very welcome which is important to me. Once parked I didn't need to move again (and I stayed from Monday to Friday) as there is so much that can be done directly from the site. Firstly the views across the valley to the sea are wonderful. There is a walk down to the sea at MEVAGISSEY without needing to use the road at all so dogs are safe. This can be a circular walk as well, but some of it is very steep. There are other walks but I didn't get time to explore them as I spent a lot of time in Heligan Gardens, which are lovely, even in October. There are also literally miles of walks around the gardens and the Heligan estate. The cafe at the gardens, which is accessible without going into the gardens serves all kinds of food. A lot of the food is grown in the gardens so very fresh. Just a wonderful holiday and can't wait to go again in the spring.

Stayed here for three nights to visit both the Eden Project and the Lost gardens of Heligan. Really lovely clean site with excellent facilities. Staff are very helpful and freindly. Ideal for the Lost Gardens as they are just through a gate on site. Mevagissey is a 40 minute walk from the site. Highly recommend!
