Our first camping trip here
What a fantastic site easy to find and not far from all the big supermarkets. We stayed for 5 days and found the site very clean and well maintained. Lots of activities for the kids to do and the parents. Bar and restaurant clean and tidy with lovely staff and fantastic food.
Would definitely return and recommend.

Fantastic Weekend Away
Have just returned from spending the bank holiday weekend at the River Dart for the 4th year running and we were not disappointed.
We were 5 families, loads of adults, children ranging from 3-19 and 4 dogs. The park put us all together and it was the best one every.
There really is something for everyone. We went swimming in the river, ended up at the pirate ship, the play area is amazing and we had a great game of hide and seek - all free.
The pitches are very well spaced out so we could have a game of cricket, football and badminton. Great fun.
We went to the bar as they were showing the Exeter Chiefs v Wasps match, what an atmosphere and of course they won.
The prices in the bar are not expensive at all and Scotts banana cake was amazing. A very generous helping and marvellous, I think we nearly ate the whole cake with our large party.
On the morning we left we went for the breakfast. £10.95 per adult is not cheap but children under 12 eat free so that made it come down in price.
There was fruit and a huge selection of cereals, toast, croissants and crumpets and the cooked breakfast was all hot and amazing and they even had delicious quorn sausages. Perfect to have as we left the site.
The shop is very well stocked with
Already booked for next year as we just love the place

Beautiful setting with great outdoor activities
We recently camped here for a few nights and were impressed overall with the camping facilities. The toilet/showers were a bit more basic than many places we stay but we're fine. They didn't seem to be as regularly cleaned as other parks and I wonder what it may be like in high season. All the free activities like the woodland parks, bike trail, pirate ship etc were brilliant and our boys had a fantastic time. The pub and restaurant on site were also great for food & overall the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful setting, lovely staff
We had five nights here with our motor home and were joined by family in their camper van and caravan, altogether six adults and a 4 and 8 year old plus one four month old Springer Spaniel. The Country Park camp site is clean and well maintained and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Whichever way you look the scenery is lovely and there are great walks/cycle rides through woodland and along the river. The hidden surprises are wonderful adventure activities for children and adults alike; climbing ropes, spider web ropes, zip wire and rope walk, pirate ship complete with walking plank, fortress with two awesome tube slides, swings, a swimming lake you can cross with various swinging ropes, the list goes on. The only rule is that children should be supervised. To top all that there are even safe places to swim in the river Dart. There are also extreme activities for an extra cost, river zorbing, canoeing and high wires. The Park has some awesome ancient trees, some of which can be climbed if you are brave enough. The Sawmill Bar and restaurant serves great food and the Sunday carvery will delight all appetites. My only complaint, the excellent shower blocks were cold when we visited in April, although the water was lovely and hot. We will definitely be back
