the site was a delight and well kept all facilities were excellent clean, modern and secure, lovely play area for children, and the fact that the donkey sanctuary is just a field away was fantastic with some lovely level walks around the animals, we spent a lovely couple of days here and would recommend it to others and would have no problems returning for a visit there is also a lovely pub not far that did some lovely food

We visited this site after my wife noticed it was near to the donkey sanctury. On arrival we were escorted to our pitch by a very helpful member of staff, who explained where all the amenities were located. The nearby shower block was clean and well equiped, including two family bathrooms as well as the usual. We has opted for one of the 'super' pitches, so no lugging water or waste barrels for me! hye site has a small shop, WiFi and ecellent play area for the kids. This site is well located between Sidmouth and Beer (15 min drive to both), ideal for exploring this coast. As for the Donkeys... they are only a field away and WILL seranade you during the early hours. Great visit - will return.

We have just returned from a short break at this site.
As mentioned in the proffesional review we too got a warm welcome and were shown to our pitch. I liked the fact that the pitches were arranged in groves, not just rows and rows like you see at some bigger parks.
All the pitches seemed spacious and level, many had gravel, and some had thier own water/waste as well as electric.
The park was beautifully presented with flower borders etc, even the amenitiy block was pleasantly disguised with plants!
This is a quiet, peaceful park with a nice feel to it.
The facilities really were spotless and helpfully there is a unisex area with loo's and showers meaning that even if the main facilities are closed for cleaning there are still showers etc available.
There was also a good information board advertising everything from camping/caravan supplies to places to eat to local craft fairs, great if your new to the area.
Nice childrens play area.
The site is well positioned for Sidmouth,Seaton,Beer and the beach at Exmouth.
If I had to give any negatives at all it would only be that our pitch was a fair walk from the amenities,(ours was a last minute booking). That said though, you are told where your pitch will be located when you book, and given that there is a park map on thier website you are able to see where you'll be which is helpful.I guess if you booked early you could have a choice of pitches.
The park security was good,I would happily stay here on my own with the children and feel completely safe.
I wouldn't hesitate to recomend this site to families or indeed couples.
