This site is very clean and tidy but lacks something. There's quiet then there's Tymparon, there seemed to be no atmosphere that you normally get when caravaning. 2 ladies toilets and one shower and only one toilet & shower in the men's doesn't seem enough for the amount of caravans there. When we arrived we were told to find a pitch there's two left, weren't shown to a pitch like most sites. You really are in the middle of nowhere and require a car to get to anything; not even a pub for a pub lunch. After 4 and half days we've cut our holiday short and decided to head for home. We wouldn't return and would only recommend to people looking for nothing to do but relax. Definitely wouldn't recommend if you had children.

This site is in a lovely location near the pretty village of Newbiggin, but is still only a few miles from the motorway. It's a quiet site with limited facilities but the pitches are large and the atmosphere is tranquil.
