This area is popular for those looking to take a relaxing holiday and do nothing for a few days. At the same time, there are many opportunities for getting active and sampling many of the great activities that are on offer for lovers of the Scottish outdoors.
Whether it is discovering one of the areas’ exceptional golf facilities, fishing on Loch Lomond, or trying something more active such as climbing Ben Cruachan and other famous peaks in the area, there is plenty for you to do.
If pushing yourself to the limits of your fitness doesn’t appeal, then there are plenty of places within reach for you to take a day trip. Fort William is a favourite on the mainland, while the Isle of Arran and others set off the west coast of Scotland are also amazing places that are excellent for spending time exploring.
