Whitemark Farm is a quiet Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site found in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Oxfordshire.
This family friendly and dog friendly park is open from 1 March until 30 November (weather dependent) each year and has space for up to five caravans or motorhomes and 50 tents. Electric hook-ups are not available. Indeed, facilities overall are quite basic, but that's part of the charm of staying here. That's not to say you go without. There are toilet and shower blocks plus sinks for dishwashing, as well as a range of communal facilities including a kettle, microwave, fridge and chemical disposal points. Soft ball games are allowed, space permitting.
There's also an on-site shop at Whitemark Farm. Products on sale here include free-range eggs from the farm’s hens, homemade preserves and cakes, grocery essentials, camping supplies and secondhand books. There is also a small market held on-site three days a week, where guests can pick up fruit and vegetables, with fresh fish available once a week.
If you've pitched here and you're looking for somewhere else to eat or drink, then the market town of Watlington is just a two-minute drive or a 15-minute walk from this campsite. There are three pubs here which welcome families and serve local ales and food. There's also a small supermarket, a popular fish and chip shop, an Indian restaurant and takeaway, a coffee shop and deli, and a butcher.
