Looking for somewhere to spend your camping and caravan holidays in Wales? You may just have found it here.

Trench Farm Touring Park and Fisheries is a beautiful park close to the town of Wrexham and the English/Welsh border. While the fishery has been at the site for over 25 years, the touring park has been open since 2009 and has already built a reputation as one of the most popular campsites in Wales.

The campsite has pitches suitable for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, while serviced pitches are available for a small additional cost. These serviced pitches are all hardstanding, all-weather pitches and have electric, water and drainage hook-ups. Fishing fees are included in the price you pay when you stay at Trench Farm.

And so onto the fishing. Trench Farm Touring Park and Fisheries boasts three coarse fishing pools, all of which are well stocked and allow plenty of opportunities for keen anglers to catch a bite. Some of the pitches available at Trench Farm are close to one of the pools, giving guests terrific views of the local wildlife first thing in the morning and at sunset, while of course there is the added benefit of being able to have a better choice of a fishing spot!

Elsewhere across this campsite in Wales, shower and toilet facilities of the highest standard are available for guests to use throughout their stay, while an on-site utility area called the Camper’s Kitchen has washing up facilities as well as a fridge freezer, a microwave, and tables and chairs for those looking to sit down and eat away from their caravan, motorhome or tent.

A lot of work has been done to encourage wildlife at Trench Farm, and as such guests enjoy a truly authentic outdoor experience when staying at the site. Many of the areas have been allowed to grow wild and uncontrolled, meaning an abundance of bird life along with insects and butterflies call Trench Farm home. Badgers, foxes and water voles are also commonly spotted across the site, making the park a brilliant location for nature lovers, irrespective if you’re heading there for the fishing.

Trench Farm covers 180 acres of the countryside, meaning sightseeing walks aplenty can be enjoyed without having to leave the site at all. Outdoor lovers that don’t mind looking further afield can take a scenic countryside drive to the Snowdonia National Park or to the popular towns along the North Wales coast. All of these locations offer plenty to do for fun loving families, whether they are looking to relax by playing golf or walking along the beaches, or want to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon itself.

Closer to Trench Farm, the town of Wrexham is a thriving place to spend a day, with a diverse collection of shops and restaurants as well as being an emerging destination for exploring culture and the arts. Galleries, museums and theatres are all popular in Wrexham, which also boasts its own share of parks and wide open spaces so guests can spend a day with everything they could possibly need within easy reach.

All of which means that Trench Farm Touring Park and Fisheries could be the perfect campsite for you on your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Wales.
