Lakeside Touring Park

Lakeside Touring Park in Lincolnshire is one of caravan dealer Don Amott’s popular parks. It has owner-occupied holiday homes, but there’s also a great touring area, too. The Don Amott group was established in 1963 and is still family owned to this day.

Both touring caravans and motorhomes are welcome to pitch here on one of the 150 hardstanding super pitches, which have all mains services, so you can enjoy all the creature comforts your unit has to offer.

As well as smart, heated washblocks that have piped music playing in them, a supermarket and a laundrette on site, those staying in their caravan or motorhome at Lakeside Touring Park can enjoy all of the park’s top facilities. The indoor swimming complex features a sauna, steam room and solarium, there is a fitness suite, a cabaret room, a Wi-Fi and snooker room, an all weather tennis court, an all weather bowling green, a nine-hole golf course, a games area and football pitch, a well stocked fishing lake and, for the kids, an adventure play area.

This is also a dog friendly campsite. However, please remember to keep your dog on a lead and under control at all times, and do not forget to clean up after your four-legged friend, either. Responsible dog owners only are welcome.

Fancy a night or two off from cooking and washing up? There's a bar and restaurant on site, too, so you won't have to go far at all. This family friendly campsite surely has all you need for your motorhome and caravan holidays in Lincolnshire.

It's also an award winning site. It is listed in the Top 100 Sites Guide 2014, a directory that lists the best campsites in the UK, and which is put together by the teams at Practical Caravan, Practical Motorhome and Caravan Sitefinder. Those who voted for Lakeside Touring Park commended it for its first rate pitches, its fantastic facilities, the fact that it is clean and well laid out, with brilliant entertainment and helpful staff. The campsite also has a five-star rating from EnjoyEngland.

Lakeside Touring Park is a super site from which to explore the lovely local area. You're about a one-hour drive from the well known seaside resort of Skegness, about 40 minutes away from Grimsby and around 20 minutes in the car from Mablethorpe, so you can enjoy the true, classic British seaside holiday experience at a number of accessible locations on your motorhome tours or caravan holidays if that's what you want.

The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is also on your doorstep and waiting for you to discover it if you're pitched at this campsite – and Donna Nook National Nature Reserve is even nearer, just a five-minute car ride away.

The market town of Louth is just under half an hour away by car cross country, and it is great for topping up on holiday essentials or any other items that the campsite's shop might not stock, as well as being nice to enjoy in its own right.

Kitchen staff are extremely rude and aggressive. we had to wait over an hour for the food, when it arrived we asked why it had taken so long and was then met with a very aggressive and rude kitchen staff coming over to our table and almost reducing my wife and children to tears, i was not going to allow anyone to speak to my family like that so i swore at her and she just laughed in our faces, i complained to the management and they disciplined the kitchen staff, however they have now blacklisted us from going there again, so unfair when it was their staff that was rude and aggressive to us in the first place. We had been visiting this place for the last 10 years, we will just go take our money elsewhere. just be warned do not make any complaints co's you'll just get blacklisted from the site like us. Extremely poor customer service....
