Mossband Caravan Park is a small yet welcoming family run holiday park situated in Dumfries and Galloway, and serves as the perfect location for families looking to relax in a rural setting, as well as being an excellent gateway to much of the outstanding beauty that populates the surrounding area.
On the outskirts of the small village of Kirkgunzeon, the park offers amazing views of the rolling hills that surround the area, and is perfect for a break or even as an overnight stopover given its location and prominence on the Galloway Tourist Route, which runs to the coastal town of Ayr.

Awe-inspiring walking trails and mountain biking routes are all within easy reach of Mossband Caravan Park, which themselves lead to the beautiful Scottish coastline. In addition to these activities, there is a range of excellent golfing facilities nearby, as well as a number of nature centres and bird watching facilities where nature enthusiasts can follow their passion.

Dumfries and Galloway is one of the richest areas of Scotland in terms of heritage and culture. The area is filled with archaeological sites, in addition to museums and art galleries. The 21st century has further seen the area become a hotspot for great bars and restaurants, which, although modern, manage to keep their charm and traditional feel.

The Scottish Borders is also a popular retirement destination, meaning many of the small villages you will find in the surrounding areas are populated with those from all walks of life, all of whom are friendly and welcoming, often run a small local business despite their ‘retired’ status, and have a number of stories to tell. Best of all, they will be able to tell you the best secrets about the local area, and the places that are most exciting to visit.
