Whether you're interested in a short break in your tourer, a break one of our luxury lodges, top of the range caravans, or camping pods or you are interested in owning your very own home from home with a caravan or a lodge, Riverside Leisure Park has something to offer everyone. Seasonal touring pitches are also available.
We offer a host of on-park facilities which will provide endless hours of fun for the whole family. The children will love making a splash in the indoor heated pool at Riverside and there’s a spa bath too, the perfect place for the adults to sit and relax. The swimming pool is open daily and there’s parent and child sessions weekly, check with the park reception for full details.
The lake at Riverside is an ideal place to while away the hours relaxing and enjoying a spot of fly fishing. Stocked with rainbow trout, it’s perfect for both keen anglers and families who want to try something new. You can purchase catch and release fishing permits for 4 and 8 hours or a full permit that allows you to keep up to three fish. We also have a selection of fishing rods available for hire from reception.
The Cheviot Hills are a walker’s paradise and are just a stone’s throw from the park. Miles and miles of stunning Northumberland countryside can be explored by joining a route from Riverside. We have detailed information and maps available from the park reception.
Just a short stroll from the main park you will find The Riverside Bar, the perfect place to enjoy great food and a fantastic selection of drinks. For the sports fans there’s Sky Sports. There’s also free WiFi available so you can enjoy a coffee and check your emails whilst the children play in the games room with arcade. The whole family will enjoy our weekend entertainment and there’s plenty going on throughout the main school holidays to keep the little ones entertained. Vinnie, our resident fox makes regular appearances throughout the year. He loves making new friends so be sure to pop along with the children and say hello! We also have a small shop on site stocked with plenty of essentials, daily newspapers, hot and cold drinks and much more! Should you need to do any laundry whilst on holiday there is a Launderette which is open every day.

If you’re looking for the ideal location for your country retreat, you’ve just found it. Riverside Leisure Park sits on the southern edge of the quiet town of Wooler, on the border of the Northumberland National Park, by the Cheviot Hills. It is a popular base for walkers and is referred to as the “Gateway to the Cheviots”. It lies on the St. Cuthbert’s Way long distance trail between Melrose Abbey and Lindisfarne.
Should you want to explore off-park there's so much to do and see right on your doorstep. The charming market town of Wooler is just a stone's throw away whilst Northumberland National Park and the delightful beaches along the coast offer miles of outstanding walking and cycling routes. What's more, the fantastic range of attractions include tranquil gardens, railway museums and the original Hogwarts location, Alnwick Castle providing something for the whole family whatever the weather.
