The caravan site is an ideal family holiday base, set on one bank of the River Lochay, and within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of the little holiday town of Killin. There's all the ingredients of a marvellous outdoor holiday in and around the site. You can fish in the river on site without a permit; (paddling, swimming or boating are not advised as water levels can change rapidly and without warning), or if you want to be more ambitious, there are water-sports centres at both Lochearnhead and at Kenmore on Loch lay. Walkers will find plenty to challenge them and for the energetic, mountain bikes can be hired in the village. Even if you're carbound you can still enjoy the scenery by driving up some of the glens, keeping an eye open for the huge range of wildlife which abounds here.

Hotel with lovely food right across the road and a bonus is the allow dogs
There was slight noise from the housing development on main rd but you got used to it

This site is set in beautiful surroundings and Killin is a pleasant little town with some decent facilities. The site is kept clean and tidy and has a shop where you can buy some basics.
I love this area but tend to find it rains here quite a bit!!

Excellent site situated on the outskirts of Killin. There's a little play area for the children and it sits right on the river so there are duck roaming freely around the site too. Washroom facilities are good and they have parent and toddler facilities which is handy for letting the smaller children having a bath. A nice little pub across the road also does bar meals.
