Langdale Lakes

Langdale Lakes is small, friendly, family-run, adults only campsite in Lincolnshire, in a peaceful, wooded, natural environment. It is also easy to access, sitting not far from the A158 to the north east of the cathedral city of Lincoln, and it is well signposted from the road.

The campsite welcomes guests in caravans, campervans, motorhomes and tents, even large motorhomes and fifth wheelers can be accommodated. Pitches are well spaced from each other to give every guest a sense of privacy, plus 16A electric hook-ups are available at every pitch. Many of the grass pitches are alongside the fishing lakes and even if they're not, none are far from the water, and as the individual plots aren't defined, there's a lovely, open feel to the site. Seasonal pitches are also offered here, if you fancy staying longer.

Travel light on your camping holidays? There's a small kitchen on site to serve your basic needs, fitted with a fridge/freezer, a kettle, a toaster and a microwave, as well as a sink with hot running water. And, of course, the campsite has a shower and toilet block that all guests are free to use.

There are also B&B rooms that can be rented at Langdale Lodge, part of the same holiday complex, adjacent to the campsite. These smartly furnished ground and first floor rooms, some double, some twin and some with en suite facilities, come with bedding, a flat screen TV with Freeview, free Wi-Fi and unlimited tea and coffee. Enjoy your breakfast overlooking the lake while you plan for the day ahead.

As the campsite's name suggests, Langdale Lakes has two lakes, the 1.6-acre Lily Lake and Willow Lake, which is just over 1.4 acres in size. Guests are welcome to fish at these two lakes, where coarse fish and carp can be found.

Being an adults only campsite, this is a peaceful place to enjoy your camping, campervan, motorhome and caravan holidays in Lincolnshire, plus well behaved dogs are welcome – owners are reminded to clear up after their four-legged friends.

On your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays at Langdale Lakes, there's plenty to do in the local area. Lincoln is just a quarter of an hour away by car and once there you can visit the striking cathedral and the late 11th century Lincoln Castle.

The Lincolnshire Wolds are close by too, officially recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty, one of 46 AONBs across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Enjoy the natural environment and go walking, cycling and riding. Bardney Limewoods National Nature Reserve is also close to this campsite and is composed of nine separate woods, totalling 382 hectares, giving you plenty to explore.

The Lincolnshire coastline is also just waiting for you to discover, the traditional seaside towns of Skegness, Ingoldmells and Grimsby around an hour away from this campsite by car. In addition, Scunthorpe is less than an hour from Langdale Lakes.
