Nearby there is also the Royal forest, the hills of Purbeck and Chilmark stone quarry. Towns and villages made prosperous by wool. The ancient Ports of Swanage and Poole contrast sharply with Bournemouth offering miles of sandy beaches, 2000 acres of parks and gardens and two piers while Christchurch, this largely Edwardian town still retains its Saxon street plan with an ancient priory founded in 1094 has a blend of styles from Saxon to Renaissance.

There is so many places worth visiting in this area, such as:
- Highcliff Castle
- Mummies Museum
- The Teddy Bear Museum
- The Tutankhamun Exhibition
- The Dinosaur Museum
- The Tank Museum
- Terracotta Warriors Museum
- Red House Museum
- Go Ape!
- Dorset Heavy Horse Farm Park
- Sea life Centre
- Tower Park

..and many more!

We booked this holiday at the last minute with no expectations, however I feel compelled to write a review as me and my family were really impressed with the whole package. The accomodation was modern, clean and comfortable and the staff were all helpful and happy which really makes a difference. We really enjoyed the entertainment in the evenings and even went swimming in the outdoor pool as it was heated. A perfect break in a great location. Thank you Park Holidays. We will definetely be booking again!!!!
