Marina Caravan Park is one of the most popular holiday parks in Lancashire. Situated close to the mouth of the River Lune, Marina Caravan Park is just a short distance away from the historic and picturesque town of Lancaster. Open from March to January, Marina is a collection of privately owned holiday homes that are perfect for anyone looking to set up a permanent holiday retreat in the North West of England.
Marina is a small park and the permanent owner’s only model means that the mini-village and community feel is everywhere to be found.
There is a range of excellent amenities on offer that add to this atmosphere, and mean that a weekend at Marina Caravan Park is just that; you never have to head out into town if you want a relaxing break away from it all.
The on-site bar and restaurant facility is a favourite with those looking to socialise and meet up with their neighbours and friends, and the patio area overlooks the outdoor pool, meaning you can sit and relax while your partner or children splash away and enjoy themselves.
For those looking for more leisurely activities, the park operates an exclusive bowling club and golf society, ideal for meeting new people or having some friendly competition within your holiday. The parks’ gardens are immaculately maintained by the park owners, ensuring that the site is always friendly and welcoming.
Outside of the park, the small village of Glasson Dock is just a short walk through lush countryside away, while a stunning coastal path will take you to some of the best views in the area.
If you want to get in the car, you can find many attractions a short distance away. The seaside resort of Blackpool is just a short drive down the coast, while the Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Lake District are on your doorstep if you are looking for more exposure to the outdoors.

Marina holiday park near Lancaster is a great place to escape to. It's a quiet, relaxing park and the only people there are other owners, so everybody respects each other and you don't get woken up by loud holiday makers.
The park has a great little pub where most people know each other, so it's a great little social hub. The park also has an outdoor pool, which is fine, but only worth taking a dip in the summer. Early March isn't the best time to be taking an outdoor swim!
Nearby is the village of Glasson Dock where you'll find shops, restaurants, tearooms and a bakery. Basically everything you'd need for a self catering holiday can be found in the village.
We love going through to Marina as often as we can, it's a lovely park at the best of times, but during the summer, it really shines!

My wife and I own a holiday home at Marina that we visit as often as we can. We last visited for Christmas and had a lovely time.
Marina is a quiet park with a great little pub that attracts the other owners most evenings. Never a dull moment!
It's only a short drive to Lancaster where there's plenty of shops and restaurants. If you fancy a drink in Lancaster the taxi prices aren't bad at all.
The staff are very friendly and always helpful.
Thinking about it, I can't wait to get back.
