Thornbrook Barn Touring Caravan Site has 42 spacious touring pitches. All of which are hard-standing with 16 amp electric hook-up. Some pitches are super pitches with their own freshwater tap & greywater waste.
Modern and first class facilities are available on the site. Complimentary site wide wi-fi is included. A motorhome drop-point is also available.

Dogs are welcome (max 2 per pitch) and there is an enclosed exercise area where they may be let off their lead.

Children are welcome; however we don’t have any open play areas nor are ball games permitted around the site. An unfenced stream runs through the site; care should be taken with young children.

There are also 3 luxury glamping lodges sleeping 2 adults (adults only & no pets in the Lodges). Each has their own hot tub and come fully furnished and equipped for a lovely couples getaway. All bed linen, robes and towels are included.

Thornbrook Barn is a quiet and peaceful site set on the border of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is just ¾ mile and a pleasant ten minute stroll will take you to the nearest pub serving food and hand pulled cask ales. The nearest shop is Country Harvest, a combined food shop, gift shop and Coffee shop which has its own bakery, deli and butchers and is just a few minutes’ walk. A hail & ride bus service operates from close to the site entrance for services to Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle and Skipton and the Dales villages en-route.

The picturesque Dales village of Ingleton is around one mile from Thornbrook Barn; the walk along a quiet road and footpath is pleasant and takes in fine views. The village offers small independent shops, cafes, pubs and takeaways. There is a superb heated outdoor pool (open seasonally May-Sept) and an attractive park bordering the river Doe.
Thornbrook Barn is perfectly placed for exploring the stunning landscape of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is just ¾ mile. The nearest pub, the Marton Arms, serving good food, hand pulled cask ales and over 35 gins is just a short 8 minute stroll. Dogs are welcome in the pub and there is a delightful beer garden with views of the fields and towards St.Oswald's Church.

The site is just a short car drive or bus journey to the railway stations of Settle or Ribblehead to board the train for the historic and scenic journey on the Settle to Carlisle railway. Visit the tourist caverns of Whitescar Cave, the longest show cave in Britain and Ingleborough Cave which is well lit and welcomes dogs and as there are no steps it is accessible for pushchairs.
