Touring site very small & cramped when full - like camping on someones back lawn.Surrounded on 3 sides with high conifer hedges which restrict most of the views.There is constant noise from the busy Welshpool road & a 'street lamp' positioned in the centre of the touring park which means you are trying to sleep in amber light. Clean & tidy but expensive tariff. Walks pretty but you have to pass the back of a housing estate to get to them. Canal walk lovely but unless you want to run rabbit along the busy main road you cannot do a round walk. Abermule consists of a small shop, new housing estates & 2 run down pubs. A car is essential to visit Newtown for decent restaurant/pubs. Will not be returning
