Greaves Farm Caravan Park

Absolutely fantastic quiet site located 10 minutes from Newby Bridge and within easy reach of the more popular parts of the Lake District. Run by a lovely couple just wanting to make sure you have everything you need to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I love sites like this that are away from the hustle and bustle but within easy reach of you want it. The site was very peaceful and spacious, and despite only phoning up the day beforehand, there was no issue booking us in. A couple of tents were dotted around the site and for most of the weekend we were the only caravan there, and that's in the middle of the summer holidays! The site has everything you could need, electric hook up, disposal points and even had access to fridges and freezers in the washing up hut. Toilets and showers (20p) were in keeping with the farm buildings and absolutely spotless. Make sure you follow the directions on the contact page of their website and not your sat nav! I definitely recommend this site and wouldn't hesitate staying here again.
