Wardleys Creek Caravan Park

Hambleton, Lancashire

Enquire Now You enquired

Relax and gaze over riverside views in your very own static caravan in Lancashire. Welcoming and close knit, the owners-only Wardleys Creek Caravan Park’s cosiness creates a community spirit that can only be found on smaller parks. Thanks to its extended season, you can enjoy escapes here earlier and deeper into the year.

The park sits within a special conservation area on the sleepy banks of the River Wyre. Just down the road is the village of Hambleton, where you can stock up on essentials and enjoy a drink in the local pub and the historic market town of Garstang with its tearooms and restaurants is only a short drive away. Travel just a little further and you’ll reach the medieval streets of Lancaster overlooked by the city’s grand hilltop castle. If you fancy seaside excitement, the bight lights of Blackpool are also within easy reach.

The surrounding area abounds with natural delights too. On the opposite bank of the river is the Wyre Estuary Country Park and nature reserve. Especially great for birdwatching, its many walking trails lead through flower lined gardens and natural habitats. If you want a break, sit down with refreshments from the café while your kids paly on the play park. The remote valleys of the Forest of Bowland are a short drive away and so is a choice of sandy beaches.
