Newby Bridge may be reached by leaving the M6 motorway at Junction 36 and following signposts to Barrow and Newby Bridge along the A590. Just before entering Newby Bridge about 200 yards before 2¼ miles beyond High Newton, turn left at the signpost to Canny Hill. The park entrance is about 200 yards on the right hand side.Just some of the excellent attractions on the doorstep of Newby Bridge County Caravan Park are the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway, The Aquarium of the Lakes - the UK's largest freshwater fish collection, and Windermere Lake Cruises, who offer cruises along the whole length of Lake Windermere, giving easy access to the heart of the Lake District without the problem of finding a parking space. Across the lake from Lakeside on the eastern shore is the National Trust park and gardens at Fell Foot with lovely gardens, water sports and a boat launching facility. An adventure playground and several acres of grass make for an ideal venue for children.
This is the perfect setting for holidays in the Lake District where you can enjoy everything this magnificent national park has to offer, including England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, as well as 16 lakes and endless beautiful scenery.
Newby Bridge Country Caravan Park is located on the southern shore of Windermere with easy access to water activities including boat and canoe hire, sailing, and lake cruises, perfect for holidays in the Lake District.
