Kerfoots Caravan Park

Abergele, Conwy

Kerfoots Caravan Park is a privately owned and run static caravan park in the centre of Towyn, three miles west of Rhyl on the north Wales coast. It's worth noting that Kerfoots Caravan Park is only licensed as a holiday park, so you won't be able to become a permanent resident all year, even though you will own your static caravan. However, owners of holiday homes at Kerfoots Caravan Park are permitted to sub-let, so buying static caravans in North Wales can be a pretty worthwhile investment for those who want to let it out. Alternatively you can spend most of the year on holiday here!

Showers, and a laundrette are available at the park and there are gas refills for sale. The site has its own pub/club facility that houses three snooker tables, two pool tables, and a large TV showing sports channels.

During your holidays at Kerfoots Caravan Park you will find everything you need in Towyn, which has a selection of shops as well as some great bars, pubs, and restaurants, including takeaways. The location of the park means that you can easily walk back to your accommodation following a late night out in town if necessary. Towyn also has a leisure centre with indoor pool and other activities on offer, while fishing is available at the beach and along neighbouring waterways.

There's a golf course found close by, while scenic walks along the North Wales coast are also popular. Towyn market is a great place to pick up local produce and the odd bargain, while a fairground is close by for guests staying at the park with their children. A day at the races can be enjoyed at the nearby racecourse, while the opportunity to explore much of North Wales shouldn’t be missed, whether guests are permanent owners or sub-letting at the park.

To the west, visit Rhyl and Prestatyn, two seaside towns that have a wide range of attractions suitable for families. They have great beaches, parks, and amusement arcades. Both towns also have shopping and entertainment complexes, as well as open spaces and parks.

To the east, you can take the car and pick up the North Wales coast road. Visit Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, and Conwy, or go to Bangor and the Isle of Anglesey, which are a little further away, if you don’t mind a longer drive. All of these towns have plenty of things to do for tourists. The north coast of Wales has great public transport services, so if you want to leave the car behind yet still explore as many places as possible, you can do so.

Also within reach is Snowdonia National Park, which is the ideal place for you if you love taking part in outdoor activities surrounded by spectacular Welsh mountain scenery. Walking, cycling, and horse riding are all massively popular across Snowdonia, while there are several waterways for those happy to take their fishing gear along with them. Snowdonia offers a range of terrain from the flat and easy to navigate to the mountainous, with woodland trails offering opportunities to enjoy wildlife spotting and bird watching.

Kerfoots Caravan Park is a great place to choose, if you want to become a holiday home owner in Wales. There is plenty to do in Towyn and most of the rest of North Wales is within easy reach.
