Beautiful park although they do allow rentals. We have been on the site for 18 months and love it. The pool and club are always spotless and most other owners are really nice and friendly people. Dogs are allowed and they have a dog field for them. There is usually plenty of entertainment for both young and old

I have owned my caravan on the new pines for just under a year now and have used it three times. We paid just over £25000 for a caravan which I have now been told is only worth £9000. On our first visit, five out of the six children's activities were cancelled due to lack of staff, lack of equipment. The children's play equipment ie playstation could only be used when a member of the kids club was around and that wasn't often.

General cleanliness of toilets was awful in the main building and staff were very unhelpful and disinterested. The promise of a brand new costa coffee was a small coffee machine at the corner of the bar, many places to eat meant that you could eat your pub grub from a very limited menu anywhere in the main building but there was only the bar food and one other restaurant which filled up quite quickly and was expensive.

The shop on site was poorly stocked and some days didn't even have essentials such as bread and milk.

I think this park just wasn't for us and maybe some people could overlook the points I have mentioned but for a five star park, you should expect perfection. We are now in the process of moving our caravan to another park where we will be a lot happier, but be warned, Talacre Beach limited do not make it easy and please be expected to carry on paying lots of money throughout the year on little extras and god forbid if you need a repair on your caravan! You definitely need deep pockets to own a caravan here. Also as a last point, when they sell it as exclusively private owned site, this is not correct, I met five couple who had sub letted as the security is very poor and they do not check thoroughly who is using whose caravan

Right from the moment we drive through the welcoming entrance, we relax in the tranquil setting and are happy in the knowledge that when the kids go off to play, they are in safe, secure grounds with nature all around them. I can go off to the gymnasuim whilst my wife relaxes in the jacuzzi in 5 star luxury!

The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. We weren't surprised at all to hear that the New Pines were recently awarded 99% by the Tourist Board.

We would happily recommend the New Pines to anyone looking for a secure family park with lovely people, grounds and holiday homes.
