We stayed at this site as two groups. We, (my partner and I), were staying on a pitch on the touring fields. My elderly mum and her companion stayed in one of the statics. The static was looking a bit tired, and we encountered a few problems with it. However, I have to say, the problems were dealt with very quickly and efficiently by the Whitehill Country Park staff. So, well done for that.
One thing noticed, was that there were no facilities for sitting outside the static, to take advantage of any summer sunshine.
We went to the camp site restaurant for a meal on our first night, suffice to say that it was our one and only visit to that facility!!!!
We did find a local pub which did a brilliant Sunday Carvery and a very good menu with specials for the rest of the week.
The camp shop was very well stocked, and there were supermarkets within fairly easy reach for the bigger shop.
The toilet and shower block closest to our tourer was looking a bit tired, but was generally clean and fairly well maintained. As mentioned by previous reviews, quite a few of the pitches were sloping, even our hard standing pitch was on a slope, but it could be an advantage when it rained heavily, as long as you pitched to take advantage of the slope. This was a good site to use as a base, as there was plenty to do and see, close by.

Stayed at this park only last week. Had a really great holiday. Lovely clean park with good facilities - nice large clean swimming pool and excellent entertainment in the evening. The staff were always pleased to help us and it's in a great location (close to the beach and torbay but surrounded by country side!). Will definately be back next year!

Guestbook reviews

Lovely park. Lots to do for the kids. Good bars/food places. Good walk from the park into Stoke Gabriel which is picture postcard beautiful.
Special mention to Harriet who had a great voice singing in the evening entertainment along with all her friends. All the staff were amazing, happy and hardworking. Would recommend.

Whitehill Country Park

What a fabulous family run campsite.
We had a gorgeous sunny week here and felt like a world away from the speed and hustle and bustle of our tech driven lives!
The facilities are second to none - plenty of hot water and spotlessly clean showers and toilets.
An abundance of activities arranged every week, but nothing intrusive or overly loud! Two great pills to choose from and gorgeous bluebell woods where we all enjoyed woods games.
All in all one of the best campsites i have ever visited.. thank you for a brilliant stay!

Fantastic camp site, super clean facilities throughout. Lovely indoor and outdoor heated pool, good gym also. The entertainment team were great with a good variety for kids and adults in the evening and some day time activities too. The app made it easy to book and pay for activities also big shout out to the cafe who put on a lovely afternoon tea, delicious and tailored for our fussy eaters. Highly recommend staying and we will be back.
