Mayville Holiday Estate is a charming park in the popular Lincolnshire seaside town of Skegness. Open from mid-March until the end of October, Mayville Holiday Estate is home to a collection of owner occupied holiday homes. If you would like to buy a holiday caravan in Lincolnshire, and want to take a look at this park, its best to contact the park directly to find out if there are any holiday caravans for sale at the time you might be ready to buy.

The park is pet friendly, while all of the holiday homes there are modern and equipped with the latest appliances and conveniences. Set in the heart of Skegness, the park is a great place to have as a permanent holiday retreat for the whole family. Golf courses, fishing locations, and the town’s famous beach are all within easy reach of the park, meaning there is plenty to do in and around Skegness during the park’s season.

Popular Skegness attractions close to the park include the famous market and Fantasy Island, which is always busy and enjoyed by adults and children alike. The seafront is where most tourists head when in the town, with a beautiful promenade that has a great range of shops, cafés, bars, restaurants, and amusement arcades. Skegness Pier is also beautiful and it is worth walking the whole length of it to enjoy the amazing views out to sea and back towards the town.

The beach itself is clean and safe, perfect for ball games, while water sports often take place throughout the year. There is plenty of place on the sands for relaxing with a book or just taking in the sun, too, even when the tide is in.

Also in Skegness is the Natureland Seal Sanctuary, which is a great place to spend a few hours with the family, and is educational as well as fun.

If you fancy a fun-filled day and a lively night out, why not buy day passes for the Butlin’s resort in the town, which is filled with a range of attractions, activities, and places to eat, drink, and enjoy live entertainment.

The town is a wonderful base for exploring a large section of the east coast, as well as the beautiful county of Lincolnshire. Quiet coastal roads take tourists to villages including Mablethorpe and Chapel St Leonards, which are both within a 30 minute drive, and have their own quaint selection of shops and welcoming country pubs.

If you love the outdoors you will find plenty to do across the Lincolnshire countryside. The Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is just a short distance away, and is excellent both for walking and for cycling.

The cathedral city of Lincoln can be reached in an hour, with public transport from Skegness taking a little longer. The drive to Lincoln is pleasant and scenic, with a choice of A roads or quieter country lanes helping tourists to get there. In addition to the cathedral, Lincoln has charming cobbled streets, a ruined castle with walls you can walk around and some other wonderful examples of historic architecture.

Also close by are the popular country towns of Woodhall Spa and Boston, both of which offer plenty to do both for active families and those looking for cultural attractions and relaxing days out.
