Searles Leisure Resort is perfectly situated a mere 200metres from some of Norfolk’s most amazing beaches, and is an exceptional holiday retreat for younger and older generations.Searles is a family park filled with fun, and you are even allowed to bring along your favourite pets!
One certainty when you visit Searles is that you are unlikely to get bored. The park itself is full of activities, ranging from swimming and bicycle hire for active individuals, to golf and bowls for those who are looking to enjoy a more relaxing experience in the heart of Norfolk.
Searles has been open for over 50 years, and during that time has emerged to become one of the most popular and well-visited camping sites in Norfolk.Searles offers pitches to travellers looking to stay in a tent or their own motorhome, and also offers a range of their own owned holiday homes and chalets for hire. If you visit the park and enjoy it so much that you would like to make camping in Norfolk your regular break, then Searles has a range of motorhomes and chalets available for you to buy.
The holiday park is situated in the town of Hunstanton, a small, traditional town where visitors are always made to feel welcome, whether they are visiting the beach or taking in a picnic on the town’s green. The rest of the north Norfolk coast, as well as the popular town of King’s Lynn, is also within easy reach, so if the beauty of Searles and the surrounding area is not enough for you, you have the option of exploring a number of other beautiful beaches, or even taking in some shopping.
Searles offers a range of family-friendly entertainment throughout the daytime as well as the evening, meaning that whether you decide to enjoy an ‘on site’ retreat or explore the local area, you will never be short of something to do.
Hunstanton's location makes it the perfect base for exploring the surrounding coast and countryside of North and West Norfolk. Starting with Hunstanton's sandy bathing beach just two hundred yards away, the coast of North Norfolk can lead you on an odyssey of marshlands, sandy beaches, coastal walks, bird and nature reserves, plus quaint coastal villages and bustling seaside towns.
Your inland exploration can also start at Hunstanton where our very own Land Train can drop you in the heart of the town's green, or continue to Hunstanton Lighthouse and make the short walk to the dunes of Old Hunstanton Beach.
And just a short drive from Hunstanton there is a whole range of activities to suit all the family.
Whether it is a visit to the nearby Park Farm at Snettisham, Norfolk Lavender just down the road at Heacham or a visit to the stately homes and parklands of Sandringham and Holkham - Reception can provide you with information on attractions and activities throughout Norfolk and the surrounding areas.

I haven't actually visited this site - I am unable to as I am a single person having been widowed. According to Searles' policies this now makes me a threat to the safety of the families and couples on the site so I am not allowed on. A pretty disgusting policy with no foundation. Apparently single people are not fit to mix with families and couples!

We have been every year for the last 4 years. It is a super site, clean, well maintained and loads to do. The shows in the evening were loved by the children, especially when all the characters appeared for a dance. It is very close to the beach, and Hunstanton is a very quiet seaside town.

Lovely site, great amenities, excellent showers. Very clean and well organised. Pitches are really good, private, plenty of space. Nice to stroll round on an evening, ideal for families or couples.

We have just spent this Easter at Searles. Our first break away and couldn't ask for more. Lots to do on site for families. Beautifully maintained site with good size pitches, we had a corner pitch with enough room for two cars, caravan and awning. Reasonably priced on site general store. Excellent chippy. Good heated indoor pool which was well heated and child friendly. Tesco's have a store outside the entrance if needed. Plenty of shower blocks and waste points, all kept clean and tidy by the staff. All the staff we met were helpful and polite - including the security guard who had to reset my electric when I tripped it out.... After 23.00 there was very litle noise on the site. The icing on the cake Hunstanton is lovely on a sunny day.

Very good all round site, pitches a good size. close to the beach, toilet and shower facility's good, regarding the entertainment if you want it it is their and if you don't it will not affect your stay in any way, noise levels at night are virtually non existent. I would give this site 9 out of 10.

I doubt if there is another site anywhere as good as this one. It is immaculate. Toilets cleaned several times a day, general maintenance all around the site is ongoing and the people who go there do so because they appreciate the well kept, safe and pleasant surroundings. This is one of those rare places where people are polite, friendly and considerate towards each other. Like most of the people who have stayed there, we will continue to go as often as we can. The pools are warm and a very good size, no extra payment to use them, hairdryers in the toilet blocks do not have coin machines. The jacuzzi and sauna are free also and the evening entertainment is first class. There is a bar which is adults only with 'gentle' entertainment and the club house where the children go has a wide range of entertainment. The children who go to this site are usually well behaved, polite children in my experience and cause no one any offence. Bad behaviour is not tolerated at this site and the excellent security staff ensure that everyone enjoys their stay. At night from midnight at the latest, all is quiet, no drunkenness, domestic quarrels, screaming children etc. Pure bliss!
