Rawcliffe Holiday Park in Lancashire is a short drive outside the popular seaside resort of Blackpool.

The park consists of permanently owned holiday homes, although there is an additional open field where holiday home owners can accommodate friends and family members with touring caravans and tents should they wish to. Electric hook-ups are available on this field.

All of the caravans permanently situated at Rawcliffe Holiday Park are nicely decorated and equipped with all necessary conveniences and appliances for guests to have a relaxing stay at the site. Both new and used caravans may be available at the site. Those interested in becoming a holiday home owner at the site should enquire regarding availability directly with the park owners.

The facilities offered at the site are open for permanent home owners as well as any touring and camping guests staying at the park. These include a heated shower block, a fully equipped laundrette and a well-equipped shop.

There is plenty for guests to do when staying at Rawcliffe Holiday Park, both on-site and in the surrounding area. On-site, the licensed club is always popular with guests, with children welcome most evenings so long as sufficient seating is available for all. The club features numerous areas, including the lounge bar, which has open fires and televisions. The family room is perfect for those with little ones and is great for getting a drink, as well as hosting bingo, karaoke and quiz nights, while this area also features large screen televisions.

The snooker room has a full size table and is a great place to play a few frames and relax with friends, while the games room has a pool table and quiz machine, and there is also a darts room for guests that enjoy throwing a few arrows.

If you'd like to visit Blackpool on your holidays in Lancashire, it's a 20-minute or half hour drive from the park. Go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, see the Tower and the Illuminations, and maybe have a fun day out at Blackpool Zoo.

Or maybe you'd like to go to Lancaster or Preston, both of which are about a 40-minute drive from this park, while Morecambe is about 50 minutes away.

To explore the natural beauty of this part of England on your holidays, perhaps you'd like to head south to the Ribble Estuary National Nature Reserve. Or discover what the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which sits to the north east of this caravan park, has to offer. Kendal is also about an hour's drive away, from where you could visit the spectacular Lake District National Park.

If you'd like to enjoy a round of golf, both Blackpool Park Golf Club and Blackpool North Shore Golf Club are within a half hour drive, while in Lytham St Annes you'll find Royal Lytham & Saint Annes Golf Club, Fairhaven Golf Club and Lytham Green Drive Golf Club, all of which are around 40 minutes away by car.
