Rockbridge Country Holiday Park is situated just a mile out of the Herefordshire/Powys border town of Presteigne. With access to the Offa's Dyke Trail and views of the Radnorshire Hills this family run park is perfect for a relaxing, back-to-nature holiday.

In 2024 Presteigne and Norton were given International Dark Sky status and the area is Wales' first Dark Skies Community. There's very little light pollution around the town so the night skies are clear and bright. At Rockbridge Park, owners and visitors can reach for the stars in our observatory viewing dome with a powerful telescope that brings stars, planets and constellations into sharp definition. In 2024 and 2025 Presteigne has featured as one of the best places to live in Wales in the Sunday Times annual list.

'The Retreat' is our new holiday caravan and lodge development at Rockbridge. Set by our new water and sculpture garden, there are far reaching views of the valley to one side and the Radnorshire Hills to the other.

Touring caravans, motorhomes and tents can enjoy our riverside touring area. Our facilities are rated 5 stars by Visit Wales. We're very dog friendly and as well as an enclosed exercise area and wonderful walks from the park, we're also got a dog wash and dryer! We have hard standing fully serviced pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, as well as grass pitches.

There's free river fishing on the River Lugg which meanders through the park.

The stunning countryside of the England-Wales border is dotted with castles, stately homes and ancient monuments. Presteigne is a quant border town with the award winning Judges Lodgings Museum, ancient timbered pubs, delightful restaurants and eateries and final resting place of the last woman to be hanged in Wales.

Less than an hours drive away is Ludlow with its grand castle that has played an important role in the Marches history. There's the city of Hereford with its cathedral, Mappa Mundi and Chained Library building. The county of Herefordshire is famous for it's brown and white cattle and and ciders including Bulmers and Westons.

Next door to Rockbridge Country Holiday Park is Rockbridge Residential Park where the over-50s can make the area their forever home.

There were 18 people and 1 dog camping here for a 60th birthday weekend. This is a lovely big clean site and would not hesitate in going back. The showers and toilets were basic but spotless, along with the washing up area. There was also a laundry room with I think a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer.
Could highly recommend this site for visiting Prestigne. We were also visited by the owners who asked if everything was okay and that we all enjoyed our stay, which we all did. Thanks very much from the campingbuddys see you again soon x
