On a site this size, there should be a duty manager available (even if just on call) at all times. This is not their policy, at least not on peak season Sundays.
What would happen if there was a serious emergency?? The staff left in charge are not given any authority to solve problems of the site's own making.
Do you really want to take such risks with your family? We won't ever again!

Very disappointed in this site. Pitches were cramped, allocated, and the only marking being a small round concrete block where jockey wheel had to be placed. We arrived on 20th May and set up pitch with awning, then parked car on other side of caravan. We were 2nd pitch from end. We went out the next day, only to find that new neighbours had pitched up, including awning, then parked one car on each side of pitch (yes OURS!!!) then gone out!! I had to drive back to reception to ask the warden what to do. Neighbours had returned when I got back and grudgingly moved the 2nd car elsewhere. The following day the site filled up ready for Bank Holiday weekend and it was really cramped, corrals made from windbreaks making it worse. Cars were parked on roadways, making it difficult to get out some days. I dread to think what would have happened if a fire broke out. My wife had a shower the first day which ranged between cold and lukewarm. No curtain to stand behind while the water warms up either, and the jet was set so her clothes and towel were wet too. Certainly not a site we would return to

Richmond Holiday Centre, Richmond Drive, Skegness, Lincs..

We stayed here with the family, for 3 nights over the Whitsun bank holiday weekend.

A well established and well maintained site with mostly statics and a touring field.

Good access roads to and on site. Friendly and efficient reception.

Average size grass pitches, well marked, mainly level, well drained, all with 16 amps EHU.

TV reception is good.

Well maintained, modern, heated shower & WC block.

Good facilities on site include kids play area, swimming pool, spa, gym, fast food, shop, bars and club house with good entertainment in season.

Supermarkets, bus station, train station and town centre all ½ mile, beach and sea front ¾ mile.

I particularly enjoyed parking the car Friday and not using it until we left site Monday. The site is well within easy walking distance of Skegness shops, supermarkets, beach and sea front attractions, as well as the Bus Station for regular buses to Ingoldmells and further afield.

Highly recommend this site as there is something for everyone.
