Breydon Water Holiday Park, near Burgh Castle, a village in Norfolk, is situated just a few miles from Great Yarmouth and within the Broads National Park.
Breydon Water is pet friendly and divided into 2 village-like areas with a country lane joining the two. For family fun with an outdoor pool, a children’s play area and Waterside Restaurant choose Yare Village. For those who are seeking a quieter relaxing spot with manicured grounds and an indoor pool choose Bure Village instead. You need not feel separated as guests are encouraged to make use of the facilities at both Villages. Yare is the site for all of the nightly entertainment, which can range from comedy to live music and discos, and all guests are invited!
Breydon Water welcomes touring caravans and tents on fully serviced pitches that include electric hook-up and water. A range of holiday homes, well maintained and fully-equipped, are also available for hire.
Burgh Castle, the site of several Roman forts constructed as a defence against raiders in ancient times, is a ruin with thee massively built stone walls still intact and is freely open to the public. Burgh Castle is also rich in bird, animal and plant life and stands within a constantly changing climate and coastline.
Venturing further afield to Great Yarmouth make sure to spend an afternoon at the Time and Tide museum. Located inside a former fish smoking factory alongside the medieval walls of Great Yarmouth, you will discover a most wonderful atmosphere on a reconstructed street of the old town and a distinct aroma of smoked herring inside the smoke room.
Intriguing for children and also fascinating for adults, Merrivale Model Village will delight you all with its quality gardens, miniature village and model trains and many interactive buttons that produce various sounds.

We've just returned from there and have to say we DEFINITELY will not be returning.
Bearing in mind it was Easter weekend, the swimming pool bar was shut.
The facilities aseemed inadequate for the number of people they can accommodate.
Someone on the site decided to have a firework display at 1am.........not the greatest idea with tents, awnings and caravans around!!
Positives? The weather was good

Our first Static Van Holiday for some time, booked late so were not expecting much, on arrival impressed with the bar and restaurant area and the friendly staff. Our caravan exceeded our expectations and was in a very quite location although close to the main Yare village centre. Food was reasonably priced and good, especially the £1.99 breakfast - not worth cooking it yourself for that, site approx 3-4 miles from beach down some narrow roads which I would not advise towing a caravan on if coming from the G Yarmouth end, other part of the site Bure village is a 5 -10 min walk down the road and has the indoor pool, not fantastic, the outdoor pool at Yare village is'nt bad and even though the weather was bad ( Mid August!!) there were plenty of kids using it. Would recomend this park.

Had a great time on our hols here. Caravan was clean and staff were friendly. Entertainment was great and as for the park being litter ridden rubbish excuse the pun it is one of the cleanist parks ive been on. Even now looking into a holiday home there. Highly recomended.

not a graet site , no hot water ,no toilet rolls , litter all over the park, staff dont want to know.we have been caravaning over 20 years and thia is one of the worst holidays we have ever had, we took our three children and grandchildren with there caravans to have a family holiday but it was spoilt by the poor site maintinace.
