A warm welcome awaits your arrival at our small and friendly holiday park which is set alongside the Machrihanish Golf Club with beautiful views across the course to the sea to the Islands of Isla and Jura. We are blessed with the most wonderful sunsets - and due to the open aspect of the site we are not plagued with midges as in other parts of Scotland. The site fees include free showers and hot water for laundry and pot washing. We also have a small shop on site selling essential supplies and ceramics (made on site).
We are a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated location.

OUR SECRET BEACH!! (The Gauldrons) It is delightful, exciting and is a sheltered sun-trap for relaxing on the beach. The kids love it (see the pics!) Wildlife abounds in the local area - otters can often be seen in the river on site and the seals bask on the rocks in the village. Machrihanish Bay has three and a half miles of golden sands. Golfers, surfers and canoeists gather at Machrihanish! Hop over to the Isles - Ghia, Isla and Jura - walk over to the Davaar Island. Beachcomber Bar within walking distance for a pint and a meal.

My wife and stayed on Steve&Jaqui's delightful site on the Mull of Kintyre,it was a very pleasureable 2 weeks .The site is pleasantly placed just outside the village of Macrahanish and so peacefull, the area is so scenic and only 10 mins from Cambletown.
The facilities spotless and a credit to the owners ,the beach is only 5 mins walk and so clean And inviting .
We wish Steve &Jaqui all the best in the future and hope to visit them again soon.
