Set in the dramatic and beautiful countryside of the Lizard Peninsula on the south coast of Cornwall, with a woodland walk and National Nature Reserve, this campsite has received a David Bellamy Gold Award, given in recognition of the site's commitment to the preservation of the natural environment it sits in.
But this is in fact a multi award winning campsite, as Silver Sands Holiday Park features in the 2016 Top 100 Sites Guide produced by Caravan Sitefinder in association with long established magazines Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome. And if you choose to spend your holidays in Cornwall at this campsite, make sure you go to the clean, sandy and award winning beaches of Kennack Sands that are nearby.
Silver Sands Holiday Park accommodates caravans, motorhomes and tents, plus there are holiday lodges and static caravans. The holiday homes, touring and camping pitches are set over three fields in nine acres of beautiful countryside surrounded by shrubs and trees. Field one has a fleet of holiday homes and space for touring caravans and motorhomes with electric hook-ups and water connections. Some of these have a grey water drainage connection. Field two is used for tent camping, some of these pitches with electric hook-ups. Field three is a large field for guests – in the month of August, one half is used for summer camping pitches.
Dogs are also welcome on site provided they are on a lead and remain well behaved. There is a one-acre area where you can exercise your dog off lead, or alternatively you can take it to the East Beach at Kennack Sands.
If you're staying at Silver Sands Holiday Park for your camping, motorhome and caravan holidays in Cornwall, you will have access to an amenities block that has toilets, free showers and free hot water, a family toilet and shower room, a washing up area, a laundrette, freezers and an Elsan point for portable toilet waste – remember that the site only permits non-biological chemicals.
For the kids there are play areas, including a dedicated area for under 6s and another one for under 14s. There is a sand pit open to children of all ages and an open field for ball games. There is also a public barbecue area that guests are welcome to make use of, complete with barbecues and picnic tables.
Club Wifi (a paid service) is available on our main field and part of our tent field. There is also a public information point and a tiny shop for basic essentials.
With so much natural beauty nearby you can spend your holidays in Cornwall exploring and drinking in this lovely part of the UK. Fancy something more active? Go scuba diving, cycling, windsurfing, horse riding, surfing, play golf and much more, all of which are sure to keep you busy.

Beautiful site, well spaced out pitches. Some fully services pitches. The owners Kel & Nick are very friendly and cant do enough to help. Very child friendly without disturbing adults on their own. Would highly recommend this site and will visit again and again.
