The Camping and Caravanning Club says owners of its franchised sites have spent over £1million on improvements for this season.

Suffolk site owners Greg and Karen Baines have rebuilt their toilet block, and added a washing up area, disposal points and motorhome service point, investing over £130000 to improve their already impressive site.
This Dorset site gets a new path from the camping field down through the woods to emerge close to the shower block, benefitting campers at the far end of the field. They have also created a new dog walk through the woods matching up with an existing walk, totalling a quarter of a mile.
£100000 investment here means campers enjoy new toilets and showers, a new laundry and information room and a refurbished shop and reception area. A further 20 electric hook-ups are available, and the site is now licensed for 102 pitches.
Nicky Sellier & David Weller have invested £100000 on a new toilet and facilities block and upgraded the site's electrical system.
Barry and Janet Payne have created additional hardstandings, drainage works and a motorhome service point.
Kate and Alan Sefton have created a road and new hardstandings with electrical hook-ups. They have also completely redesigned their toilet block including some cool eco-friendly features such as solar panels and innovative electric and water saving mechanisms at their Somerset site.
Sara and Martyn Merckel have installed a new sewage system.
Craig and Sandra Frazer have revamped their toilet block.Bellingham - Barry and Carole Howard have revamped the toilet blocks with all new doors, wall coverings and floor tiles at Bellingham as well as investing in new children’s play equipment.
A new children’s play frame in their playing field has been added which is securely fenced whilst giving parents a clear view of their children playing. They have also upgraded their stunning south facing camping field, putting in land drains and hard roads, as well as 12 extra electric hook-ups.
