Visit Somerset on your camping and caravan holidays and stay at Northam Farm Caravan & Touring Park, a four-star holiday park in the popular seaside town of Brean. It is open from the end of February until the end of October.

The park is perfect for families looking for an all action holiday, with plenty to do on the site as well as across the surrounding area. Guests with touring caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome at Northam Farm Caravan & Touring Park, while there are also some static holiday homes available for purchase, ideal for guests looking to make the site and the Somerset coast their regular holiday retreat. The park also sells new and used touring caravans.

A range of pitch types are available at the site, including large hardstanding pitches with adjacent grass areas, standard hardstanding pitches and all grass pitches. Pitches are available close to the on-site fishing lake, offering views of the surrounding hills, and two 'no dogs' fields available for those preferring a break away from other people's pets.

A number of facilities are available at Northam Farm Caravan & Touring Park to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the park. These include toilet and shower blocks, a laundrette, a chemical waste disposal point and Calor gas canister exchanges. Motorhome maintenance services are also available on-site. A mini-supermarket and off licence is perfect for guests wanting to self-cater without having to leave the park, although there is also a self-service restaurant and takeaway food outlet on-site, if you fancy a break from cooking and washing up.

There is plenty to do for all ages at Northam Farm Caravan & Touring Park, with a fishing lake open to all ages and a number of adventure playgrounds for children to enjoy. There is also a BMX dirt track, football fields and plenty of open space for other ball games.

The park is just a short walk from the popular Brean Leisure Park, which has even more great fun on offer for the whole family. Brean Leisure Park has a large funfair, a water park, amusement arcades and a golf course, as well as plenty of places to pick up something to eat and drink. At the weekend, a section of Brean Leisure Park is passed over to local businesses and residents, and a market and car boot sale are held.

While there is enough available both on-site and at Brean Leisure Park to fill a handful of holidays, guests looking for even more fun only have to travel a short distance. Animal Farm is one of the popular nearby attractions, while the beach at Brean is clean, safe and perfect for everything from relaxing with the family to trying out jet skiing and other fun activities.

Pitch here and you're just a quarter of an hour's drive from Burnham-on-Sea and about a 20-minute drive from Weston-super-Mare. You're also well placed to head inland and explore the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – indeed, Cheddar Gorge is only about a 40-minute drive away.

If we were to choose a typical site for us it would be a small quiet adult only one with full service pitches available so why have we been back to Northam Farm in Brean so many times? The main reason is the staff; no matter who we have dealt with at Northam Farm they have always been helpful and cheerful. We have purchased our last two caravans from them and have our current one serviced there each year, taking the opportunity to have a long weekend when dropping it off and another one when we collect it. As such we have had dealings with staff in sales, reservations, the shop, the take away and the service department, all have gone out of their way to be friendly.
Northam Farm is a large site and is divided into several different areas with a mixture of grass and hard standing pitches, though none are fully service. There are a lot of caravans on seasonal pitches and whilst there is an on-site shop and restaurant/take-away there is no on site bar. There are several pubs nearby including the Seagull which is linked to Northam Farm and where there is regular evening entertainment.
It would be easy for the facilities at a large site to get dirty quickly but no matter what time we visited the toilet/shower blocks they were always clean. Unlike many sites there is a charge for the showers but you do get a long time, you just have to remember to take your 50p with you.
So despite Northam Farm not being a site we would typically choose we always enjoy our time there and we’re looking forward to going back soon.

The family stayed for a week at the park a few weeks ago and had a great time. We had booked last minute, after getting the details off the internet, I called the site and they very helpful. I had a few questions for them including the bathroom facilities to make sure they had a bath as we have a toddler who doesn't like showers yet. The reception were very friendly and informative. Although the site did charge separately for using the showers and bathroom we didn't mind as we only paid just over £20 a night in peak season, marvellous! The site has just about everything you need, the site's cafe was very good value for money, great offers. The shop is a mini-supermarket, just as well because getting into nearby Burnham is a bit fun. The site has a restaurant/pub down the road within walking distance with loads of things on and the beach entrance is next to the pub. The local beach is heaven loads of room and clean. Downside was when tide was out, it was out well and truly. Quick sands are also evident, so taking the dog to sea was a no-go. The site though do have a dog shower, we were impressed. They had 2 dog walks and the space on each tourer field was ample, no squashing in here. It was nice to see this and the staff were on hand quite a lot in case they were needed. Definitely a site to re-visit and handy for the local attractions.
