Dol-llys Farm is situated within walking distance of the historic market town of Llanidloes, on the banks of the River Severn. The walking routes of Glyndwr's Way and the Severn Way pass near the site, as does the National Cycle Route. Golf, Clay Pigeon Shooting and the town's Sports Centre are all situated nearby.

Plenty of useful facilities. Walkers, cyclists and others touring the area are more than welcome to call in and use the camper's kitchen. Fishing on the Severn is also available on the site.
