Immervoulin Caravan and Camping Park is a stunning campsite found in the world famous Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. This park is open from March to October every year, and has 73 hardstanding, electric hook-up pitches suitable for motorhomes and touring caravans. There is also a large, level camping field where up to 60 tents can pitch at a time.

The facilities found on site at Immervoulin Caravan and Camping Park include a modern toilet and shower block, a dishwashing area and a laundrette. A caravan and motorhome cleaning service is also provided for guests at a small additional cost, if required.

This campsite also has a games room, which has amusement arcade games and a pool table. The reception area has a shop, which is stocked with everything from camping essentials to groceries and refreshments, to ensure that if you're staying here you always have everything you need. Calor Gas and Camping Gaz exchange is also available from reception, while a small range of fishing products and equipment is also stocked for anglers.

Guests will find plenty to do in the nearest village, Strathyre, found a short 300 yard walk from the park entrance. Here, there is a recreation ground ideal for ball games, plus tennis courts and a children’s play area. There are also places where guests can head for something to eat and drink, while many of them also offer live entertainment – try the Munro Inn, the Ben Sheann and the Inn at Strathyre Bistro.

Visit Scotland and for many, the country's golf courses are a major draw. Several world class golf courses are within driving distance of this park, including Gleneagles and Loch Lomond, both championship level courses and the former the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup.

Fishing season runs at roughly the same time as the park opening, and anglers can enjoy fishing from within the caravan park so long as they have a permit. In fact, the River Balraig runs through this campsite and is predominantly stocked with brown trout, while other lochs and rivers in the area have a range of fish to be caught, including salmon.

Water sports, including windsurfing, sailing and canoeing, are available throughout the area, with guests able to enjoy guided activities or in some cases head out onto the water themselves, depending on the location and their ability level. Those wanting a less wet experience and who are keen to explore the area can find miles of trails that can be travelled on foot, bicycle or horseback.

Other attractions in the area include Doune Castle (half an hour from this campsite), Blair Drummond Safari Park (also about a half hour drive away) and Stirling Castle (about a 40-minute drive away) among the most visited locations in the area.

You can also drive to Perth in a little over an hour, a city that was once the capital of Scotland. And don't forget to visit nearby Scone Palace.

Look into this park before going. I was doing so when i looked at their Facebook page had a few negative comments however when you look now all the negative comments have been deleted by the owners. All in all you dont get a fair assessment into this park as the owners delete all negative posts so just shows they must have something to hide.

Awful ! I have spent many summer holidays at this park over the years with 5 kids and they loved this place . I visited again in August with 3 of my children and grandson - Huge mistake ! . Park is under new ownership who prefer to clean the chicken hut instead of the toilets . They prefer to talk to the ducks instead of the campers . The games room although still advertised is no longer there , although there does seem to be a redundant games machine taking up floor space . The toilets are a disgrace not cleaned regularly nor maintained it appears as some doors would not lock . What is not stated in the webpage is that a lot of pitches are seasonals and there are one or two who guard "their pitches" like pitbulls . Be carefull not to let your children step over the white picket fence or you will be on the end of a very serious tongue lashing from the woman who appears to think she is the landowner . There are some parts of the park that have been changed with some new fencing etc but sadly new fencing does nothing to help the park nor does the very extensive decking round someones pitch - i think b&q had a fire sale on timber . There are some people walking about in staff t-shirts who are not actually staff they are seasonals who help out - be aware if you use the bins just after they have been emptied they will give you a talking to . The woman who owns the park is rude and abrupt at times , her appearance is very unkempt and at times has smelled of alcohol . If you are looking for a nice , friendly place to chill out then this is not the place to book . This was a lovely park which has gone to the dogs or should i say chickens in a very short space of time . I wont be back nor would i advise any of my friends to visit .

This campsite is under new ownership and it's not good toilets were disgusting and not cleaned the entire weekend I was there when I did enquire about the toilets I got a mouthful from the lady in the so called shop only to be informed that the reason the toilets hadn't been cleaned was that they had issues with the chickens WTF does your customers not count won't be back used to be a really good site but the new owners have let it go again a good site has gone I think the new owners need to rethink there job as they can't run a small and simple caravan park

Appalling experience. We booked here as my boyfriend had stayed many years ago and recommended the place. Unbeknown to us, the site is in the hands of new owners. Several issues plagued our prematurely shortened stay. The website continues to advertise a games room which no longer exists (the games machines rather bizarrely sitting idle in the middle of the shop floor). The new owners took over 8 months ago, surely time enough to update the website? The owners are rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful. One woman in particular. During freak gales on the first night, my daughters tent broke and they were forced to sleep in the car during gale force winds. This obviously made the second night of our stay impossible. I approached the regarding a refund or discount, both were refused. I was told 'people can make up any excuse not to stay'. Not once did she ask whether my children were alright after their experience. Instead I was offered a credit note that I could get upon leaving. When approached about this as we left, this too was not provided, we were told instead ' tell me the next time you are back and i'll remember'. Aside from rude, miserable and unpleasant owners, the site is falling into disrepair as it is no longer adequately maintained. Only two doors in the women's toilet block (which was not clean) were able to be closed and locked. Paths and drives in the campsite were also poorly maintained. Much better campsites can be found in the area. Avoid this one.

l Immervoulin Caravan site is indeed in a lovely situation and when the weather is good I have no doubt that the location is wonderful BUT when we visited the weather was awful which is why we left 2 days earlier than booked. Apart from the weather we left early because the ground was water logged and we received no help from the owners of the site. In fact no one came to check on us to see if we were OK. The midges were also problem with my husband being badly bitten - no the fault of the site owners I agree but it all contributed to a dismal atmosphere. Also - we tried to dry clothing - the only drier, located in a dirty run down room, gave us 3 minutes per 20p. The temp.control button was fixed on low heat so we had to keep feeding 20p into the machine - after spending nearly 3 pounds the washing was still not dry - I rather feel that this is a bit of a money making scheme on behalf of the owners of the site. All in all we will not be revisiting this site and wont be recommending it to others.
