We stayed in rented accomadation which was a new static caravan opposite a childrens play area. This was exellent as i`ve two young children.I was able to watch them play safely from caravan window.Area over looked alpine trees on a huge hillside. It was very quiet and relaxing. There was a well stocked shop-not over priced.Onsite there was also a licenced bar and an indoor swimming pool.We will certainly be going to this park next year-it`s so beautiful and i would highly recomend it.

Just back from 3 night stay at Faskally. Toilets were not very clean and often had no toilet roll. Sanitary bins overflowing with contents falling onto the floor! Dog bins overflowing also - surely a health hazard with small children playing nearby in the park? Site shop closes early on Saturday night! Not supposed too but it does! We went to shop at 09.25pm and it was closed - should be open 'til 10pm! No bread in site shop on Sunday morning. Not much space between tents. We were given a pitch number only to find out when we arrived that the pitch already had a tent on it!! Back down to reception - to be told "try this one" (another pitch number!) Fortunately we were able to pitch eventually, albeit on a slope! Cars allowed to park anywhere on the campsite. We found it difficult each time we left the campsite to get the car alongside the tent when we returned, as campers had pitched tents after we left for the day and we literally had to perform a slalom in the car through tents and children playing - not very safe. One big bonus is the scenery - absolutely stunning! Fantastic walks along the river. Personally, I think there is too many young people running rather a large site. Although the staff were friendly we did get the impression that they were rather 'frazzled' i.e. working too long hours perhaps? There was always queues in the shop/reception. Would definitely return to the Pitlochry area, but unfortunately I wont be returning to Faskally Caravan Park.

We stayed at this park in July 2007. You are not given any specific site you have to find your own. Most of the touring sites are on a hill. We stayed for 3 days and did not see anyone cleaning the toilets in that time so they did not smell very nice. As we had a dog with us we could not use any of the facilities. There was no outside area to sit and have a drink.

We had looked at this site many times then finally booked for a long weekend. It was brilliant my husband and i had a ball and our kids loved it too. We went bike rides and the views were beautiful. We went to the pool on the site and the kids loved it. On the sunday we went to the club and had a laugh at the karaoke. The games room was brilliant for the kids too. Lots to do round about this site. We will be back at this site.

this is a "no nonsense" site, that is, no late night noise or trouble
certainly one of the best in scotland
