Deer's Glade Caravan and Camping Park is a stunning five star family holiday park found close to Cromer on the Norfolk coast. Open all year, the park is found in a beautiful woodland clearing, and welcomes guests with tents, motorhomes, and touring caravans to the park. Camping pods are also available for guests looking to enjoy a unique glamping experience.
Most of the pitches at Deer's Glade Caravan and Camping Park are grass, although there are some hard standings available. 99 of the pitches are ‘deluxe,’ offering electric and television hook ups, while the remaining 18 are standard pitches. Seasonal pitches are available for holidaymakers who would like to leave their caravan on the site all year and enjoy lots of holidays here, while affordable caravan storage is available for those who would like to return but don't need to reserve a seasonal pitch.
Two amenities blocks are at the site for guests to use during their stay. Facilities housed here include toilets, showers, a laundrette, and washing up area. Wi-Fi internet is available at all pitches, while a small on-site shop ensures guests can stock up on their necessary holiday essentials without having to venture away from the park if they don’t wish to do so.
Also found at the park, there is a children’s play area, a picnic area, and a dog walking area, in addition to plenty of open space for children to run around in and enjoy ball games and other activities. The site has a popular animal paddock where guests can interact with the goats and sheep that live at the park, along with a friendly donkey. If you enjoy gentle walks, you'll be glad to know that a number of scenic woodland walks head off from the site.
There are several beautiful villages and towns close to the park, all of which feature welcoming local amenities including shops and public houses. One of the main attractions for tourists is the close proximity to the stunning Norfolk coast. With a nature reserve and sections of Heritage Coastline close by, there is plenty to do and loads of woodland activities and countryside to discover before even heading down to the sandy Norfolk beaches themselves!
When guests reach the sand, they will find safe, clean beaches where they can relax or enjoy ball games and other beach activities. Many of the beaches are dog friendly, although guests should note that only East Runton allows dogs all throughout the year.
The Norfolk Broads are found close by, offering a great location for a family day out. Guests can hire a boat for the day or simply enjoy riverside and woodland walks. Norwich is easy to drive to from the park and is very much an underrated tourist city, with a stunning cathedral, a castle, and many great museums, art galleries, and other cultural attractions. The royal Sandringham Estate is a wonderful place to visit and is open through much of the year, while National Trust properties found close by include Blicking Hall and Felbrigg Hall.
